the summer of love turns 50
We at FOOT! fun walking tours are very excited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love, and will be offering special FLASHBACK tours all year long. Relive the Psychedelic '60s―or experience them for the first time―on one of our fun- and fact-filled tours that explore the Haight-Ashbury district, the counterculture movement that put it on the map, the San Francisco music scene, and some of the significant figures that represent that era.
the long, strange trip
Throughout the year, we will be offering a longer, more detailed walking tour ofthe Haight-Ashbury district, which focuses on the significant figures of the Summer of Love, San Francisco's psychedelic music scene, important locations of that time (including the Grateful Dead house), poster art, architecture, and much more. We will also be entering some bars along the way, so this will be a 21+ tour only. Tour duration is about three hours.
Our standard FLASHBACK tour is a two-hour trip through the Summer of Love.
