FOOT! comedy walking tours was founded by Robert Mac, an award-winning stand-up comedian and San Francisco history expert.

With more than 15 years’ experience in the comedy scene, Mac was the grand prize winner of Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots comedy competition and met a bunch of Holly big-wigs after that, including The Fonz.

He’s performed at festivals across the country, most notably the Boston Comedy Festival (where Lewis Black praised him for his “great writing”) and the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs Festival, which is considered by many comedy experts as “being in Canada.”

The last time we checked, he was voted the 67th funniest comic in America. (It sounds nice, but if you can’t even name 66 comics, what’s the point?)

The other FOOT! tour guides are professional entertainers as well: comedians, comic actors, and improv performers. More important, they are history buffs, too, and make learning the history of the City fun, entertaining, and completely unique.

(And, yes: FOOT! guides are available for private tours and other events where you need an entertaining and knowledgeable host or Master of Ceremonies.)

Don’t get stuck on a tour with a boring guide—take a walk on the funny side with FOOT! comedy walking tours.
